It has an abrasion-resistant ripstop polyester mid-cut upper reinforced with an external toe cap and all-round protective rubber rand with a waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane.
• Its dedicated trekking last, dual EVA midsoles with softer landing heel cushioning and recycled, soft, customizable CFF footbed work with an included Volume Reducer footbed to promote enhanced comfort and a customized fit.
• The Puez Mid Powertex has a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole for grip and traction in technical terrain. At the heart of its construction built into the insole, the new Salewa Edging Plate II, a special thermoplastic frame that runs the entire length of the boot offers a combination of enhanced flex and rebound for long-lasting hiking comfort with specific levels of stiffness and flex at the forefoot, and heel for targeted stiffness, plus increased stability.
• In addition, the proven Salewa 3F System with Kevlar® cables ensures a supportive fit at the ankle and wrapping midfoot stability. This is further enhanced by the climbing lacing that runs right down to the toe.
• This trekking boot bears the Salewa Committed icon and meets our strict criteria for additional sustainability and environmentally-friendly manufacturing. In addition, the covering on the recycled, customizable CFF footbed is made of recycled mesh and the waterproof, breathable membrane is PFC-free.
